Meet Dr. Schnur

Harvard and Mayo trained interventional Pain Physician with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating patients with chronic pain conditions. She is hard working and timely with expertise in:

  • Low back Pain

  • Neck Pain

  • Thoracic Pain

  • Radicular Pain

  • Failed Back Surgery Pain

  • CRPS Type I and Type II

  • Cancer Related Pain

  • Appropriate Opioid Prescribing Practices

  • Interventional techniques for treating the above conditions including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pumps and peripheral nerve stimulation

Dr. Schnur received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. She then completed her Anesthesia residency at Harvard followed by her Chronic Pain Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

Dr. Schnur is the Neuromuscular Dyad Director and Interventional Pain Physician at Aspirus - St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. In her role she over see’s interventional pain, neurology, orthopedics, PMR and neurosurgery at her hospital.

She received her MBA from S.C Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell in Ithaca, New York. In addition, she was an Adjunct Professor in Hospital Finance at College of St. Scholastica

Dr. Schnur has consulted for multiple medical device companies including SPR, Medtronic and Abbott and teaches at numerous cadaver labs around the country, teaching residents as well as practicing physicians. She has given national presentations and currently is on the Board of the Society of Women Innovators in Pain Management and is involved in several committees with the North American Neuromodulation society.
